Striber Bog - Einrum

The book contains 8 designs by Pjörg Pjetursdóttir. The patterns are for children from 1 to 12 years. The patterns are of easy skill levels.

Björg has implemented the patterns to the einrúm yarn, adjusted the patterns that were designed for different threads so that the einrúm yarn is their red thread. Threads become surfaces, which turn into garments. She asked her daughter to colour a small drawing, improvise. She transformed that drawing into a sweater, the daughter’s special sweater.  Björg has adjusted her patterns’ designs in a way that lets the creator’s creativity be free to play with colours, surfaces, stripes. The outcome is personal; the knitter’s own design.
